WE NEED HOST TEAMS TO BE ABLE TO HOLD THIS TOURNAMENT
We will ask you on the next page if you can host and if so, what dates can you host
This registration session will allow you to express your desire to play in the 7U to 12U COYBL League Tournament at the end of the season.
The dates for the event are as follows:
June 26th - June 30th for ages 7U to 12U - June
Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.
The Format is as follows:
We would prefer you do not register until you are 100% sure you are participating.
This is a single elimination event
Teams split the umpire cost and provide baseballs - COYBL provides the awards for the winning team and runners up.
We need teams to host games, so if you can host, please indicate that on your registration. Without host teams, we cannot hold the tournament.
Depending on the number of teams we get, the format will be as such:
8 teams in a Group - 4 games on Monday - Winners advance to round 2
Tuesday is an off day
2 games on Wednesday for round 2. Winners advance top the finals
Thursday is an off day
Championship games for all age groups are on Friday June 30th.
Our intent is to level the playing field for this event.
Teams that finish in the upper tier of their age divisions will be paired against each other, teams that are in the middle of the standings of each age division will be paired with each other and the teams that finish in the lower part of the age divisions will play each other.
